Internal Process

The program will look at various methods of remittance and the process around inbound / outbound documentary collections in adherence with UCP 600. The process from the client through different intermediaries that are involved in the contract ow for clearing / settling cross-border funds transfer are defined in detail. Learn how the bank handles exceptions.

New Models

Look at new models for trade finance taking in supply chain finance, discounting, factoring, forfeiting, warehouse financing, commodity and asset swaps. Understand how to price these trades and the risk within them.


Trade Finance

Review how clients transfer performance risk using bonds, guarantees and stand-by’s, look at successful and dangerous contracts. Learn to determine the differences. Understand how to hedge price and FX exposure using vanilla and exotic derivatives. Gain insight into how agencies function and the importance of them in trade today. Look at underlying Islamic financial products and an internal view of Islamic finance active, gain insight into how to control excess credit growth.
