One of our most popular courses. Usually run over 3 days, Rescue Diver will give you the knowledge, skills and most importantly confidence necessary to become a truly independent diver. It consists of 5 knowledge development sessions, 10 Rescue training exercises and 4 open water scenarios. Uniquely, it does not involve much time underwater-rescues normally occur at the surface!
We are fortunate in that the majority of the skill development is done in Open Water, rather than a pool. This gives more time to master the skills in a “real world” environment. If you have any doubts as to how good our course is-ask any of those that have done it!
Course price includes personal Rescue Diver crewpack, knowledge development sessions, all open water scenario sessions (where appropriate), use of all necessary gear, air fills, dive site entry fees and PADI certification. We incorporate the DAN 02 for Diving Accidents into all our Rescue programs, and offer package prices if EFR First Aid programs are included as well.

The Ocean Dive Center is a 5 Star PADI GOLD PALM RESORT located at Beach Rotana Hotel Abu Dhabi. Providing professional diving services, from scuba diving courses beginners to professionals, underwater commercial projects for professional commercial divers, professional pool and beach lifeguards. Ocean Dive Center was established in the year 2006 by Mr. Issa Maiah who aims to provide safe, high quality, professional services.
Diving
Ocean Dive Center offers diving programs and courses from snorkeling, children’s diving programs, and beginners programs all the way up to professional level. Since the beginning the dive center has been providing quality courses and services to the students, divers and non-divers alike. In the 5-star surroundings of the Beach Rotana Hotel and Rotana Beach Club, our guest enjoys the swimming pool cooled in the summer and warmed in the winter. Having the dive center on the water’s edge gives the advantage of easy beach diving for students and divers, as well as easy loading and off-loading of our day trip speed boat.
