The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) is standardized test required by many US colleges. This exam provides a path to opportunities, scholarships. It’s administered by College Board, Educational Testing Service.
Its total duration is 3 hours 45 minutes.
There are three SAT sections: Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing
Critical Reading is made up of three scored sections: two 25 minutes section, and one 20 minutes section, with varying types of questions, including sentence completions and questions about short and long reading passages.
Mathematics: It consist of three scored sections: two 25 minutes section and one twenty minutes section, with varying types of questions, including multiple choice and grid in questions
Writing: It includes multiple choice questions and one brief essay for 60 minutes
Maximum Score: 800 per section
Average Score: Math- 516, Critical Reading- 501, Writing- 492
