Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test that is used to determine the grip over the language for non-native speakers. It includes both speaking and writing. It’s one among the major tests conducts around the world for the non-English speakers to get admitted in universities or professional institutions that have this language as the main mode of communication. There are four sections in TOEFL, namely, listening, reading, speaking and writing. There is no specific TOEFL syllabus. As such, a candidate is not required to refer to any particular subject. This section involves reading 3 or 4 passages from academic texts and answering questions. Candidates can prepare for this part by practicing reading passages from books or papers. In this section, candidates will have to express an opinion on a familiar topic. They will have to speak based on the reading and listening tasks.
