Individuals who operate the cranes and those who carry out the rigging of the loads to the crane using slings, chains, ropes or cables to secure or move loads should attend this course.
All employers should consider this course as part of mandatory safety training for every employee who operates lifting machinery, and uses slings, chains, ropes, while carrying out their job function.
What will they learn?
Students will learn how to operate the crane in a safe manner, determine or calculate the weight of a load so they can select correct lifting slings and the carrying out and methods of safely attaching slings to a load and its safe transportation.
