Basic NCS/EMG

Basic concepts of nerve conduction studies.
Physiological and non-physiological factors affecting the technical aspects of nerve conduction recording.
Technical aspects and clinical applications of specialised nerve conduction procedures, such as late responses and blink reflex.

Hands-on experience in performing nerve conduction studies for common tested nerves as well as learn anatomical localization for EMG of important muscles.
Normal and abnormal motor unit morphology and recruitment pattern.
Clinical and electrodiagnostic features of entrapment neuropathies, cervical and lumbosacral radiculopathies
Advanced NCS/EMG
Clinical utility of advanced EMG techniques, including multi-MUP analysis and Quantitative EMG
Electrodiagnostic approach to a wide spectrum of Neuromuscular disorders, including myopathies, ALS, motor neuronopathies, axonal and demyelinating polyneuropathies.
In-depth understanding of the physiology and the technicalities underlying Repetitive Nerve Stimulation (RNS) and Single-Fibre EMG (SF-EMG) with hands-on demonstrations.
Specialised electrodiagnostic modalities in evaluating Autonomic (small fibre) Testing and MUNE techniques.
Key components of electrodiagnostic report writing.
Classification and clinical utility of NCS/EMG in Traumatic Nerve injury and brachial plexopathies.
