Advanced Practical Course in Urogynaecology & Uro-Obstetrics

This course aims to update the participants on the assessment, investigation and management of lower urinary tract and pelvic floor dysfunction in women. The course consists of lectures, discussion of clinical cases, videos and practical workshops. The programme is varied delivered by renowned speakers from the UK with a lot of emphasis on the practical and technical aspects of management.
The course concentrates on teaching practical procedures and enhancing surgical skills. The daily workshops will give the delegates an exceptional opportunity, urethral bulking, mid-urethral tapes, sacrospinous fixation, insertion of pessaires, urodynamics as well as repair of third and fourth degree perineal tears.

• Master class in Intravesical injection
• Master class in  Repair of 3rd and 4th-degree perineal tears
• How to insert a mid-urethral sling and Sacrospinous fixation
• Workshop with real-time training equipment with actual towers & instruments on animal tissue

Certificate in Urodynamics 

This course aims to provide comprehensive understanding of the bladder and Urodynamics. Videos demonstrations as well as hands on workshop on setting up the equipment will be provided. Interpretation of urodynamic traces will be given emphasis and case studies will be discussed with the renowned faculty from the UK.

Clinical Observership 

 To complete Masters in Urogynaecology, Uro-obstetrics & Urodynamics you need to attend a minimum of 1 - week Clinical Observership training at East Lancashire Hospitals, UK or Southport and Ormskirk Hospital, UK (University of Liverpool)
