What you will learn?
In this course, you will learn about the necessary tools, techniques and methods for procurement planning and bid management. You will start off by learning the basic concepts of strategic procurement planning, selection of improvement methods and communication of the whole plan while studying stakeholder engagement.
Forecasting and demand planning also come in the course material. This includes risk management, principles of demand planning, depicting the sales and making use of forecasting methods, that are both qualitative and quantitative.
You will also learn about the different vendor pre qualification criteria, legal, technical, financial, etc. Service level agreements also play vital role in management and it is also a part of this course. Finally the course will be concluded with bid management processes, evaluation criteria, selection and scoring systems.
Prerequisite or Relevant Knowledge
This course requires no prior knowledge in business, although you must have a 12 year degree or equivalent from an institution.
