Creativity and innovative thinking is not something you are born with; it is a skill that can be improved with practice. The brain can be likened to a well-designed car; it needs an efficient driver to exploit its full potential. Creativity is central to solving complex problems, developing new strategies, facilitating innovation, and driving change within the organization or even the society.

The creativity and innovative thinking skills training course is designed to teach trainees whole-brain creativity and innovation process. They will discover their personal creative thinking style, learn how to put together a dynamic and peak performing creative team, generate creative ideas using a practical creative thinking techniques, evaluate and select ideas, ‘sell’ those ideas internally and/or externally in order to gain the buy-in and commitment of others and transform ideas in practical initiatives.

Mr. John, MA, ACC, CEC, isan experienced leader, facilitator and coach with over 40 years of senior management experience.

Currently, John is a part-time instructor in the Continuing Education Department, Okanagan College, British Columbia, Canada and a career management project consultant for a management consulting firm. He is the owner of John K. Whitehead & Associates (formed in 2014) in Canada, providing training and coaching to both individuals and organizations. He worked as general manager for the Canadian Federation of Independent Business for more than eighteen years.

John has an experience in sales management training and consulting and has provided sales support for various firms across the US and Canada. He has held senior operational positions with national organizations achieving significant recognition for his results.

John has a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University (Victoria).

He has a certificate in Executive Sales Management from York University (Toronto), Certified Sales Professional from Conestoga College (Kitchener)and a certificate in Management Development Program from Red River College (Winnipeg).
