The PRINCE2 2017 Certification Scheme builds on PRINCE2 2009, but places a new emphasis on tailoring the method to the needs of organizations and project management environments. and comprises of the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualifications 

 

The PRINCE2 Foundation course provides an introduction to the PRINCE2 methodology and terms. The purpose of the PRINCE2 Foundation certification is to confirm you know and understand the PRINCE2 method well enough to be able to work effectively with, or as a member of, a project management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2. The Foundation certification is also a prerequisite for the Practitioner certification.

  • PRINCE2 Processes: The seven PRINCE2 processes outline the tasks that are involved in the management and delivery of a successful project. These processes cover the entire timeline of a project, from pre-project to project closure.
  • PRINCE2 Themes: These seven themes must be addressed and followed continuously for the PRINCE2 project to be carried out effectively and efficiently.
