This 2-day comprehensive and advanced course and workshop comprehensively covers Nerve Conduction Studies & Electromyography (NCS/EMG), including approach, basic techniques an+d clinical applications:
- Detailed approach to technical, recording and clinical aspects of Nerve Conduction Studies, including criteria for demyelinating and axonal neuropathies
- Hands-on Practical demonstration – covering technical pitfalls and NCS recording of unusual nerves
- Approach and Hands-on Practical demonstration of specialized NCS techniques, including Repetitive Nerve Stimulation (RNS) and Late responses
- Using EMG Simulation software to develop an understanding of normal, neuropathic and myopathic EMG patterns
- Hands-on practical demonstration of Multi-MUP analysis
- Case-based approach, interpretation of NCS/EMG data and participants-contributed case discussions
