The Diploma in Food Preparation (Culinary Arts) Cookery / Patisserie is based on the Classical Continental Cuisine and incorporates basic to advanced skills & knowledge necessary for entry
into commercial food production operations within the International Hospitality & Food Production Industry.
A City & Guilds, London, International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts) (8065-02) OR Diploma in Patisserie (8065-03), recognised by the World Association of Chefs Societies (Worldchefs)
is awarded upon successful completion of the course program and all related internal & external international examinations.
ICCA Dubai Industry Internship / Work Experience Placement (IWEP) Program is an industry integration program specially designed for qualified student chefs (aged between 19-28 years) to join the industry as Professional Chefs by way of regular employment or
an internship leading to work placement, following the over 620 hours of on-campus guided learning & training program.
The IWEP is not mandatory for attaining the Diploma Certification and the age limit (19-28 years) prescribed above is only for those opting for the IWEP program, and not for admission into the course.
Successful completion of the Diploma / IWEP Programs paves way for further opportunities such as International Internships (US & Spain), Higher Studies (Switzerland), Skilled Employment & Migration to countries such as Australia, Canada and the UK, and also
helps set-up business enterprises in the Food Industry of their own.
